About the position This is an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated Automation Specialist to be part of Koja’s continued growth in the United States. As Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in Koja’s US Marine and Industrial automation projects, from survey to commissioning. The ideal candidate for this position will bring their passion for automation design and project management, customer service, and outstanding problem-solving and communication skills. We expect you to be comfortable in a fast-paced multinational environment. This position will report directly to the CEO and Project Directors of Koja USA. Travel of up to 30-40% is to be expected. Your responsibilities include: surveys on existing HVAC automation systems on cruise ships and control systems in industrial applications and implement control philosophy design of HVAC systems to achieve the most energy-efficient HVAC plants and create design documentation, including system descriptions, control philosophies, PI diagrams, and EL drawings. select, and supervise subcontractors remotely as well as on-site project scheduling, delivery, and related documentation. system commissioning. a work environment that ensures long-term customer satisfaction. What we expect from you Education & Work Experience degree, preferably in Engineering or Automation 5 years of experience in HVAC automation project design and project management proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office negotiating and understanding complex contracts. working in a multinational matrix business environment and a passion for collaboration with multinational teams.
