Job Duties
Brief Summary of Job Duties:
- Maximizing the value derived from the University's information systems
- Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining database driven applications and interfaces, and providing system support, particularly focused Accounting, Finance, Budgeting, Grants, Procurement, and the overall Finance module
- Acting as the primary liaison between Accounting, Finance and Administration, and the Division of Information Technology (DIT)
Requested Minimum Qualifications
• Education: ABachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university is required.
Experience: Five (5) years or more of related technical/functional and professional experience with Banner Finance is required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Performing application development or programming in a production environment
• Programming and applications development with Oracle databases and PL/SQL.
• Experience with COBOL, Pro*C, Java or ASP.net programming, Banner ODS, Evisions Argos and FormFusion, Supplemental Data Engine (SDE), Imaging Systems, Workflow, APEX, UNIX Scripting, web tools, 4th generation computer languages, and data visualization software
• Experience with GIT, GITHUB or other toolkits
• Experience in project management
Other Preferences for Consideration
Banner Extensibility tools, Groovy and Grails, and Ethos Integrations is a plus.
