Project responsibilities may include planning, design, and managing a variety of projects related to water and wastewater treatment facilities. The Water Facilities Team Leader will work closely with Garver’s Overland Park Water Business Team Leader to grow our practice. This position presents an opportunity for significant career advancement and industry-wide recognition through an entrepreneurial approach to creating what we believe Kansas clients will soon view as the best firm to work with. The successful Water Facilities Team Leader must be proficient in the following skills: Team Leadership: must assemble, develop, mentor, and oversee a highly motivated team. Project Management: must prepare scope-of-work and level-of-effort estimates for contract proposals; must lead and manage team for successful execution of contracted scope, budget, and schedule Senior Water / Wastewater Design Engineer: must be proficient at the execution of planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases of water and wastewater infrastructure projects Business Development: must develop, capture, and maintain workload for the team throughout Kansas, by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients. Client Service Management: must develop and maintain a healthy network of clients throughout Kansas. This role will offer the opportunity to leverage Garver’s established, nationally respected Water Services Team and concentrated, industry experts to support business development initiatives for an up-and-coming firm in Kansas. Mentorship and development from seasoned leadership and peers will allow this Facilities Team Leader to have a direct impact on building Garver’s legacy of providing outstanding engineering services to water and wastewater clients in Kansas.
