Project Engineer Employer: Crystal Mover Services, Inc. (a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. company) Work address: 815 N.W. 57th Avenue, Miami, FL 33126 Duties:

Provide oversight for all technical issues related to CMSI O&M sites and new projects for the APM systems and subsystems; Perform engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives involving conventional types of plans and specifications; Perform design calculations and prepares equipment or material specifications; Develop design procedures, and specifications leading to construction documents; Troubleshoot problems with systems, identify causes, develop repair plan and communicate plans to technical staff; Ability to perform designs using relevant design software; Perform failure analysis on APM systems and subsystems as necessary. Review failure reports, identify trends and develop processes to alleviate and minimize recurring failures; Coordinate with MHI Engineering staff to resolve technical issues requiring documentation or drawing changes to ensure consistency throughout the organization; Coordinate with MHI Engineering staff, suppliers, and/or subcontractors to develop project proposals, schedules, O&M plans and/or other related documents; Provide technical training on any elements or characteristics of the APM subsystems. Communicate recommended or mandated changes in procedures or maintenance activities to technical and supervisory staff. Identify need for and facilitate additional training as procedures change. Position requires 10% domestic travel. Minimum education required:

Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Engineering, Architecture or a related field. Minimum experience required:

Five (5) years of experience in transportation engineering or related experience. Skills Required:

Must have experience with: Interpreting and designing civil, mechanical and electrical drawings and diagrams on Computer-Aided Design and Building Information Modeling software such as AutoCAD and Revit; Precision measuring instruments such as acoustic and thermal imaging tools, Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) and electrical testers; Operation and maintenance of electromechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, chillers, air compressors, air conditioners, and shutter doors; Project management or quality assurance management of infrastructure (transportation) capital projects; APM engineering; and Developing APM refurbished plan proposals for aged system or equipment.
