Scientific Project Coordinator

Scientific Project Coordinator at LabConnect Location: Springhouse, PA (onsite 3 days/week) and Titusville, NJ (onsite 1 day/month). Hybrid role with core East Coast hours 9am 5pm and flexible for global meetings. Overview LabConnect improves lives by partnering with pharmaceutical, biotech, and clinical research organizations (CROs) to accelerate new medicine development worldwide. We provide Central Laboratory Services and Functional Service Provider (FSP) solutions, acting as an extension of our clients teams to coordinate laboratory needs, advise on data collection strategies, and deliver end?to?end analytical and logistical solutions. Responsibilities Support operational management of multiple teams in a fast?paced, cross?functional environment for low?complexity projects. Coordinate agenda, track key actions and decisions, and assist stakeholders in task completion and communication within translational research teams. Support cross?functional planning, budgeting, and resourcing activities while managing Key Event Maps (KEM) timelines of costs and events. Provide support for strategic biomarker plans for trials, ensuring creation and regular updates. Assist with identifying and developing process improvement initiatives. Deliver TR status updates and manage escalation of risks and proactive risk management. Align timelines across drug development paths for projects and understand the flow of decisions in TR. Support TR teams and Project Managers during strategic budget review meetings where early budget read is created. Partner with Project Managers, Biomarker, and Translational Leaders to oversee budgets, create budget line items, and ensure accurate projections to alleviate risks and drive continuous improvement. Use technology solutions to support cross?functional translational research/OTR and Biomarker teams. MS Teams (Planner, team calendar), PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, MS Project. Portfolio Dashboard (Project View, team membership, milestones, trial timelines, upcoming projects, budget). Planisware, Tableau VizCafe for building capabilities. Enable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics via Tableau. Qualifications B.A./B.S. in Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, or related field. Entry level (?2 years of relevant industry experience). Experience managing projects, timelines, budgeting, and forecasting preferred. Understanding of drug development and clinical trial processes preferred. Sample management, analysis, or sample tracking knowledge preferred. Proficient with MS Office, MS Project, Smartsheet, and SharePoint. Strong time?management, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Hybrid role with onsite presence at Springhouse and Titusville locations.
