We’re Tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique Tails.com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It’s clever stuff. We’ve got ambitious plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re now scaling fast in the UK and Europe – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. At Tails.com, the Brand team defines our brand strategy and partners across the business to creatively bring this to life across all customer touchpoints - physical, digital and experience. We knowthere’s no such thing as an average dog - that’s why we’ve recently refreshed our brand identity and launched our biggest ever brand campaign, built on our new brand big idea: Never Average. This is just the first step in the next era for Tails.com, as we celebrate our 10th birthday and recent B Corp certification.

The role

We're looking for ahighly motivated and results-driven Assistant Brand Manager to join usat an exciting time as we bring our new brand world to life across digital and physical products, ensuring that even more dogs benefit from the power of our 100% tailored nutrition.Reporting into the Head of Brand, this is a remarkable opportunity for a brand marketer seekinga role in which they can growas our business continues toexpand.

You will be responsible for:

Packaging development

-Leading the UK adaptation and roll-out of our packaging redesign, reflecting our new brand identity Building trust

-Leading cross-functional efforts to build consumer trust in Tails.com in the UK by understanding what matters most to our target audience, ensuring our claims are responsible and compliant, and ensuring we build on our recent B Corp certification Campaign development

-Briefing our internal Creative & Content team to develop campaigns for UK NPD launches and seasonal activations Brand guardianship

-Partnering with teams across the business and their creative agencies to ensure we show up in a consistent, compelling way across physical, digital and service touchpoints Agency management

-Supporting the Head of Brand with external agency relationships and development of masterbrand activities The skills you’ll bring:

Proven brand management experience within Consumer Goods (retail or direct-to-consumer), ideally with direct experience in leading packaging projects Experience writing insight-led creative briefs, partnering with creative agencies / internal creative teams and working with brand guidelines to deliver stand-out creative Excellent stakeholder management skills to manage and deliver projects through cross-functional teams Attention to detail as it pertains tomanagingbudgets and workingwith Finance to keep an accurate record of our brand investment each month We’re particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience in: Pet, Food & Beverages, Nutrition, and/or Baby categories e-Commerce, direct-to-consumer, and/or subscription models (brand management experience of products that are both physical and digital would be a bonus) Belly rubs and ear-scratching of office dogs Our commitment We’re proud to be an active equal opportunity employer.
