With over 35 years of experience, we design and manufacture cutting-edge ground segment equipment, and provide comprehensive solutions and end-to-end services, powered by our innovative technology Together with Wavestream, we are seeking a Vice President of Business Development & Sales - North America to lead sales operations for a global tech company in the US market. Job Summary: As the key sales and account development leader for our North American operations, experience with MSO's (major satellite operators) and the Department of Defense will be key to the role. You will spearhead our account penetration initiatives while collaborating closely with pre-sales, operations, and account management teams. Responsibilities: Drive new business growth by generating leads and fostering relationships with existing and prospective customers and partners. Provide consistent and reliable updates to the VP on market developments, customer targets, pipelines, and forecasting. Oversee sales processes, funnel management, and negotiation of commercial agreements. Cultivate strong networking relationships with suppliers, channel partners, and relevant organizations. Represent the company as a spokesperson and commercial representative at conferences, trade shows, and external events. Mentor and develop high-performing team members, taking necessary action to address underperformance. Requirements: 10-15 years of sales management experience in the US communications field specifically RF, high-power solid-state amplifiers and satellite communications. Background with U.S. Government including DoD, inflight connectivity/entertainment, and satellite operators. Proven track record of leading sales teams and managing personnel for a minimum of five years. Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution in a relevant discipline. Possess a player-coach mentality, leading from the front with a focus on urgency, results, and dynamism. Recognized for deep stakeholder relationships and extensive network with key technology leaders in target organizations. Experience building and growing relationships with major players in the telecommunications market, including partners, distributors, and end users. Familiarity with services and solutions sales, with a keen ability to identify potential sales opportunities in an evolving market.
