The analyst will build and manage SQL queries to access data required for analysis projects and summarize and present the results to key business decision-makers. The analyst will also enable corporate and store marketing programs by building and managing audiences in our customer data platform. The ideal candidate is naturally curious about customer behavior and has a passion for solving problems using data. Roles and Responsibilities: Data analysis Define and manage marketing analysis projects based on business needs Perform ad hoc analysis projects to answer key business questions Build visualizations and summarize the results of analysis projects Present findings from analysis projects to key stakeholders Support the development of CRM strategies to improve customer engagement and retention Create reports and dashboards to visualize data and communicate insights to stakeholders Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in customer data analysis Query development and optimization Build SQL queries to support analysis projects Identify and resolve data gaps and inconsistencies Optimize queries to support ongoing analysis needs and report development Collaborate with engineering to address questions and gaps with data sources ROI tracking Define and build attribution approaches to support marketing program analysis Create and manage holdouts and control groups Measure the impact of programs and potential changes to marketing strategies Build and manage ROI reports for key campaigns Audience building Build audiences to support custom marketing campaigns Organize and manage audiences for ongoing marketing programs Utilize CDP to build and manage lists Qualifications: Preferred bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business, statistics, data science, computer science, management information systems, or related field. Certification in CRM or related field is a plus 1-2 years of marketing data analysis experience or an MBA Proficient in SQL and building complex queries Experience working with relational databases Familiarity with marketing metrics and ROI analysis Familiarity with a business intelligence tool such as Qlik, PowerBI, or Tableau Understanding of basic statistics Basic knowledge of PowerPoint Advanced knowledge of Excel Strong communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Accepts responsibility for quality of work and continuous improvement Ability to translate business questions into analysis projects Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical personnel Willingness to learn and test new tools and approaches to accelerate data analysis *All applicants must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks and drug testing in order to qualify for employment.* Group 1 Automotive is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
