What we’re looking for:
An energetic Room Attendant to clean and stock guest rooms and ensure high standards of cleanliness.
What the job is like:
Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents by extending arms over head, bending and stooping.
Changing bed linens which requires lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room.
Sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock cart. Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
Additional duties and assignments as directed by Manager.
Qualifications:
Previous hotel housekeeping experience highly preferred.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Must be able to carry or lift items weighing up to 40 pounds and push and/or pull approximately 50 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the facility, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, push, pull, reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Must be able to stand for an extended period and for an entire work shift.
