Senior Water / Wastewater Project Manager Join HDR as a Senior Water / Wastewater Project Manager and lead the development of contract documents within our Water Business Group across Asheville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Wilmington, or Winston?Salem, NC. As part of our Water Business Group, youll help shape how communities manage water for generations to come, delivering safe drinking water, treating wastewater responsibly, and protecting lives and property through flood control. Your contributions will make a meaningful difference in peoples lives. This role is a chance to lead change, drive progress, and leave a lasting legacy. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate the work of single or multidisciplinary teams throughout the projects lifecycle, from development and initiation to close?out. Be responsible for all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium?sized projects with high technical complexity, involving a large project staff. Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently. Establish and maintain client relations and be involved in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. Conduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with staff and stakeholders. Coordinate staffing and workload throughout the project life cycle, ensuring completion of deliverables on schedule. Track financial aspects of projects and adjust work effort to keep within budget and schedule parameters. Work with Accounting, Operations, and Business leadership for periodic project reviews. Implement QA/QC procedures. Supervise large project staffs and mentor less?experienced Project Managers. Perform other duties as needed. Preferred Qualifications Masters degree in a related field. PMP certification. Local candidates are preferred. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering. 10 years of related experience. Minimum 5 years of project management experience. Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., PE or P.Eng.). MS Office and MS Project experience (Access experience is a plus). Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills. Commitment to participating in HDRs employee?owned culture is a must.
