Essential Job Functions

Position Overview

The Corporate Benefits Specialist will perform a variety of benefits management processes for Regency's managed skilled nursing facilities, ancillaries, and the corporate office. The Corporate Benefits Specialist will be cross-trained to do other tasks within the scope of their responsibilities as dictated by the Benefits Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide customer service to employees regarding their insurance coverage
  • Complete daily/weekly/monthly benefits tasks in system
  • Review payroll premiums for employee enrollments
  • Ensure leave hours and PTO is on employee timecards each payroll period
  • Audit benefit dates for employee status changes or terminations
  • Send missed premium communication to employees
  • Process qualified event requests and provide instructions to employees
  • Audit dependent verification documentation
  • Reconcile provider invoices and communicate with representatives
  • Manage FMLA/LOA/ADA cases for assigned facilities and ancillaries
  • Assist Benefits Manager with ACA checklist periodically
  • Process Medical Support Notices
  • Work closely with the Human Resources Coordinator and facility and ancillary staff
  • Communicate with Regional HR Managers and HR Team

  • Experience in basic accounting principles
