Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Associate located in Doral, FL. The Quality Assurance Associate will be responsible for conducting quality control and quality assurance processes, utilizing analytical skills to assess product quality, managing and maintaining quality standards, and effectively communicating with team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspecting each style of clothing received from the factory for any defects, misprints, misspellings, or any imperfections that could affect the quality of the product.
  • Maintaining quality control procedures to ensure that clothing items meet the company's quality standards and specifications. This involves completing internal QC inspection checklists and conducting visual inspections.
  • Maintaining detailed records of inspection findings, including documenting any defects or issues identified during the inspection process. Detailed reports will be reviewed at the end of each month.
  • Collaborating with the internal team to communicate quality requirements, provide feedback on product quality, and address any quality-related issues or concerns.
  • While checking shipments for quality, the associate can also verify that items are being packed and shipped correctly according to company standards. This involves ensuring that the right products are being sent to the right destinations and that they are properly labeled and packaged for shipment.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of warehouse supplies, and ensuring that they are adequately stocked to support operations. This may involve restocking supplies throughout the day, conducting regular inventory counts, placing orders for replenishment, and organizing storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Perform various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, based on the needs of the business.
  • Ensuring all products in the warehouse are packed and stored properly. Boxes are labeled correctly and closed with the correct tape.

  • Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of quality management principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify defects
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Relevant certifications or training in quality assurance
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English)
  • HS Degree or equivalent
  • 1 year at least of warehouse or similar experience
  • 2 years at least of higher education
