Overview:
PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Desktop Engineer is responsible for designing a standardized end-point solution for the enterprise. Job duties includes but is not limited to custom OS image creation, Endpoint Management/Administration including Asset Inventory and Asset Tracking, Administration of Business Applications to support Windows 10, Administration of security patching for Windows 10, GPOs, application push, hardware platform evaluation and configuration. The candidate will be heavily involved in the company's continued Windows 10 deployments regarding customization, optimization and security.

Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
System implementation, configuration, administration and technical support on escalations for all PC imaging and related items.
System implementation, configuration, administration and technical support on escalation for all Windows workstation patching and related items.
Administration and management of the asset tracking and asset inventory system.
Administration and management of other endpoints in the Enterprise including Chromebooks and tablets.
Work closely with the IT Security team to ensure encryption status on all endpoints.
Work closely with the IT Support team to work on escalated support items and to minimize support requests.
Respond to escalated tickets in a timely manner to ensure that IT meets its Response and Closure SLAs
Collaborate with all team members and staff, attend meetings as required, and perform other duties of a similar nature or level.
Some travel to Acadia Healthcare facilities or other business related events.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of three years working experience and advanced proficiency in Windows and system development.
Minimum of five years in a hands-on technical role.
Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications.
Knowledge of HIPAA and SOX data privacy practices and laws.
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in both independent and team environments
Solid grounding in core enterprise applications, including SQL, Email, Database and Networking.
Strong understanding of information processing principles and practices.
Excellent architecture and technical support documentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems and be assertive in presenting solutions.
Available for on-call rotation, must be available 7x24 during the primary and backup on-call weeks. Will be required to carry a cell phone and respond to alerts per published on-call procedures and be able to travel to office after hours as required during this time.
Ability to organize and set priorities according to situational demands and work effectively under stress and with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated skill in providing a high level of customer satisfaction to end-users.
Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.
Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
