Summary of This Role Manages the ongoing analysis and enhancement design activities for existing payment systems, throughout the product lifecycle. Plans and executes activities in support of system enhancements to include: the diagnosis of need and gathering requirement specifications, enhancement development planning, creation and implementation of a test plan. Ensures ongoing product oversight during the development phase and post?facto comparison of solution delivered with the original specifications. Acts as an intermediary between IT and internal clients. What Part Will You Play? Leads a team of Product Managers providing direction to product development and the overall process of the product and services function. Designs and implements portfolio of products. Builds products and services from existing ideas and helps to develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. Increases profitability of existing products and services and developing new solutions which meet client needs. Builds working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manages the product lifecycle across the application portfolio as well as transaction processing platforms to drive revenue and meet stated financial and operational goals. Defines the approach and manages the process from product development to product launch, ensuring execution is in line with project plan for the most complex and unique product initiatives. Ensures profitability for product initiatives. Develops a market and client driven product portfolio roadmap that accelerates company growth in alignment with client and market needs financial goals and overall market opportunity. Owns, manages, and communicates the product roadmap, including collaborating with industry analysts to form competitive analysis. Works with delivery, sales, and relationship management teams to determine prioritization, development and ongoing costs of delivery, and market positioning. Ensures continued success of the business long term as well as the success of the clients. Provides thought leadership and industry expertise to help shape the solutions roadmap including leading efforts around strategy, product direction, portfolio management to meet the market's changing needs. Provides product oversight to systems that require reliability, massive scalability, highly availability and maintainability. Develops and leads the go-to-market packaging. Collaborates with product marketing to develop product marketing strategies based on established product objectives, costs, and value proposition. Reviews research with product marketing to quantify value proposition for inputs to pricing analysis and marketing collateral. Defines pricing strategies for new and existing products considering competitive pricing models, internal costs, and value proposition metrics. Leads collaboration with company business leaders, sales, IT, legal and strategic marketing and relationship management teams to define product goals, objectives, market positioning, and pricing strategies for assigned product. Determines methods and procedures for managing product strategy. Assists in the identification of industry trends and business opportunities to achieve the company's strategy and business goals. Leads and oversees the identification of specific clients to market existing and new products, formulates product strategy and delivers presentations of new products and services. Ensures a structured, repeatable process is followed for conducting market research to include industry publications, analyst research, experiential research, and client surveys. Distills data from the process, develops and ensures maintenance of strategic planning approach for summarizing and communicating the results of aggregate research that will lead to the development of the strategic product roadmap. Drives the facilitation of product concepts and requirements workshops with clients in pursuit of product requirements, objectives, and architecture decisions. Drives the collaboration with product delivery and technology architecture to validate detailed design, to ensure that product objectives and key requirements are met and aligned with the market needs and business unit strategy. Provides design direction to the delivery team during the execution phase of product development Provides thought leadership and industry expertise to help shape the solutions roadmap including leading efforts around strategy, product direction, portfolio management to meet the market's changing needs. Provides product oversight to systems that require reliability, massive scalability, highly availability and maintainability. Not an exhaustive list; other duties as assigned. What Are We Looking For in This Role? Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Relevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. Typically a minimum of 8 years related professional experience including a minimum of 3-4 years experience in a supervisory position.
