The Material Handler II will perform daily work assignments accurately, in a timely and safe manner. The position will have sound technical aptitude and perform multiple projects at a time. This position can work with moderate supervision.The Warehouse/Material Handling/Logistics department is responsible for warehouse management, inventory control, work order management, incoming receipts, and domestic and international shipments of all items. This department follows approved materials SOPs. The team supports other departments in all materials needs, including staging materials for manufacturingCatalent Cell & Gene Therapy hires people with a passion to make a difference. The role:Using FEFO basis, pick, stock, verify, identify inventory, or deliver materials as neededAccurately pick, pack, ship and document all orders to meet customer order fulfillment requirements.Management of all work orders which includes printing, timely picking and staging of all materials, issuing materials to and closing work orders upon completion.Monitor shipments for damage, breakage, or other problems and document circumstances immediately upon discoveryManage and prepare domestic and international ambient and temperature-controlled shipments for delivery as requested.Complete required international documentation required per product and countryCoordinates shipments with outside vendors to establish pickup and delivery schedules and/or any resolution of issues.Ability to complete inventory cycle count activities as requestedThe candidate:High school diploma or equivalentAssociate degree or higher preferred2-5 years of experience1-year GMP experience requiredPrior experience operating warehouse equipment handheld scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks,etc.) preferredPrior cold storage material handling and alarm system monitoring preferredPrior computerized inventory management system knowledge, JD Edwards knowledge preferredPrior DOT and IATA training preferredKnowledge of International documentation compliance, INCO Terms, CI, HTS code, SLI and DGCatalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career Join the global drug development and delivery leader and help us bring over 7,000 life-saving and life-enhancing products to patients around the world.
