Job Description:

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Pool Bartender | Full Time for the beautiful new Barton Creek Country Club

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the Club.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
  • Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
  • Mix drinks for servers and members and guests according to standard recipes.
  • Maintain familiarity with the wine list, the stemware and appropriate garnishes used.
  • Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros.
  • Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow side work sheet.
  • Monitor inventory.
  • Ensure the consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
  • Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to TABC laws.
  • Be familiar with all Club amenities and activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the entire bar area at all times.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of new associates.
  • Participate in associate meetings and trainings.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
Qualifications:
  • Must have and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
  • 2 years bartending experience required. Prior server experience preferred.
  • Extensive wine liquor and beer knowledge required.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shift.
  • Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to withstand exposure to weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and multi task.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
