Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Pool Bartender | Full Time to join our dynamic team at the Barton Creek Country Club, a prestigious destination recognized among the top resorts in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to regular attendance as per Omni standards, adjusting to the Club's scheduling needs.
  • Maintain impeccable personal appearance and grooming, including appropriate attire/uniform and name tag while on duty.
  • Deliver exceptional service to members and guests in a courteous and professional manner, following established service protocols.
  • Prepare beverages for servers and guests according to standard recipes.
  • Stay knowledgeable about the wine list, glassware, and suitable garnishes.
  • Follow the procedures outlined in the employee and bartenders manuals, ensuring accuracy in drink preparation.
  • Keep the bar area well-stocked and clean, following the side work checklist.
  • Monitor inventory levels consistently.
  • Ensure consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
  • Understand and enforce all policies related to TABC regulations.
  • Be knowledgeable about all Club amenities and activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the entire bar area at all times.
  • Assist in training and orienting new associates.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess and maintain current Texas Food Handlers and TABC certifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of bartending experience is required; prior serving experience is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of wines, liquors, and beers is essential.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English, both verbally and in writing, with guests, members, management, and co-workers.
  • Capability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to endure exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
