Higginbotham, a privately held, independent insurance and financial services firm that ranks within the top 20 nationwide, has an immediate opening for a Business Development Representative in our Lehi, UT office.Our team is looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative for our LeaseGuard program, which specializes in unique insurance products for single-family and multifamily rentals. In this role, you'll drive growth in our direct-to-consumer sales channel, helping clients maximize NOI while minimizing risks and administrative burdens. If you're passionate about real estate, sales, and building meaningful relationships, we'd love to hear from youThe Business Development Representative is a critical member of our team and is responsible for:As a BDR, your primary focus will be to identify, qualify leads from property owners and managers with portfolios of single-family homes and multi-family properties.Lead Generation:Identify and qualify property owners using tools like LinkedIn, property listing sites, and industry forums.Sales Outreach:Conduct personalized outreach via email, phone, and social media to educate prospects on LeaseGuard's offerings.Schedule and lead discovery calls to qualify prospects.Pipeline Management:Use CRM tools to track leads, interactions, and progress.Ensure timely follow-ups to maintain strong communication with prospects.Networking & Events:Attend industry related conferences, meetups, and webinars to build relationships and generate qualified leads.What Success Looks like for the Business Development Representative Position:We believe in clear metrics to track and celebrate your success:Qualified Leads: 8-10 qualified leads generated per month.Conversion Rates: Achieve a 10-15% lead-to-sale conversion rate.Pipeline Growth: Grow your active pipeline by 50-70% quarterly.Revenue Impact: Contribute $200,000-$250,000 in new business revenue in your first year.Outreach Activity: Complete 75-100 outreach activities weekly.Ideal team members would possess:Proven experience in sales, property management, or insurance.Self-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Comfort with CRM tools and a data-driven approach to pipeline management.Ability to travel regularly for networking events and industry conferences.
