UNDERSTANDING

The Retail Website Manager oversees the overall functions of Retail Website operations, always keeping the customer experience a priority. This leader is passionate and sets the tone for the high energy & face paced environment of the Retail Website operations.

This leader uses corporate and retail departmental goals as a guide to look for improvements throughout operations. They build the strongest relationships with retail, warehouse, marketing, and supporting departments by being upfront and collaborative with team leaders from other departments. They are clear about departmental gaps and help provide guidance and resources to eliminate inefficiencies.

This person uses their knowledge of retail website operations and the back-end systems to ensure the team is operating at peak efficiency. They regularly evaluate processes to ensure the best customer experience on the front end of the website. They stay up to date with the latest technologies to provide an exceptional customer experience and work with marketing and outside vendors to maximize SEO and increase website traffic and sales.

They guide their teams using the core principles of ACG. They require creativity from themselves and their team. They drive a "nothing is impossible" attitude and view issues as direct challenges to better themselves and their team.

WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Reporting to the Director of Retail and Ecommerce Operations, Retail Website Manager will work directly with other department leaders including warehouse, procurement, engineering, marketing, sales, customer service, operations, and human resources. They will work directly and indirectly with customers and vendor partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, Manage, and Accountability for the Retail Website Team.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Retail Website Team, fostering creativity and growth.
  • Ensure Customers have a "World's Best" customer experience by training retail website supervisors, leads, and the retail website associates on best techniques in all areas of assisting customers.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  • Oversees Samples Associates daily tasks and works with Customer Service Manager to assist this team member in daily operations.
  • Responsible for managing schedules for all Retail Website Team Members
  • Conducts regular team meetings.
  • Provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of Retail Website Operations.
  • Train and evaluate personnel on policies and procedures.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Create and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies and vendors to support Retail Website initiatives.
  • Confer with the Director of Retail & Ecommerce Operations and other ACG Leadership Team members to develop methods and procedures to increase sales, expand markets, and promote business.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
  • Initiate Market research studies and analyze their findings.
  • Develops problem solution and implements corrective actions.
  • Review inventory and sales records to prepare reports for management and key stake holders.
  • Authorize payments and merchandise returns.
  • Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Responsible for partnering with Albanese Marketing to ensure the retail website imagery is consistent with brand standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the retail website are top tier to provide the best customer experience.
  • Works with Albanese Marketing and outside vendors to maximize SEO and sales traffic to retail website.
  • Track, analyzes, and reports on key operational metrics.
  • Inventory stock and requisition new stock.
  • Responsible for management and upkeep of all aspects of the back end of the retail website.
  • Enforces all policies and procedures for the retail website operations.
  • Ensures retail website operations and in compliance with all company Quality, HACCP, GMP, and Food Safety Standards.
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent interpersonal skills- working with management & customers.

  • Strong skills in problem analysis and problem solving.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Netsuite and Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge and proficiency in web hosting platforms such as, BigCommerce or Shopfiy
  • Knowledge and proficiency in shipping platforms such as ShipStation.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Google AdWords.
  • Knowledge in e-mail and SMS marketing.
  • Knowledge in SEO optimization and marketing.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Great verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English.
EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree or commensurate experience.
