We will count on you to: Serve as a subject matter expert as it pertains to company revenue recognition policies. Review contracts to ensure validity and accuracy. Review accrual, deferral, and share journal entry support. Assist with timely and accurate monthly and quarterly close and financial statement delivery. Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of internal and external accounting and operating policies, procedures and process improvements for general accounting functions. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX procedures, US GAAP and local statutory regulations (as applicable) regarding financial matters. Collaborate with groups outside of accounting. Work with team members daily. What you need to have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Prior accounting experience (2+ years preferred) Effective problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent time management skills What makes you stand out? Prior experience working within the insurance industry. Prior revenue recognition experience. Prior GL account reconciliation and journal entry experience. Prior experience working with sales and operations functions.
