Alliance Resource Group is partnered with a leading US-based consumer products company with global reach, serving diverse markets around the world. The Senior Accountant will support international divisions, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. Position Overview:

The Senior International Accountant will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our international operations. This position requires a deep understanding of accounting standards and operations, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across cultures and time zones. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for international divisions. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance. Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of international financial statements with the US headquarters.

Compliance and Internal Controls:

Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP). Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits of international divisions.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for international divisions. Monitor and report on budget versus actual performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Taxation and Regulatory Compliance:

Oversee international tax compliance, including preparation and submission of tax returns. Stay updated on changes in international tax laws and regulations, advising management on implications.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting. Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
