Job Description

Job Description Description: We are seeking a Commercial Electrical Estimating Manger to join our team. The ideal candidate will have recent estimating managerial experience and be able to utilize previous electrical journeyman construction experience. As an Electrical Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process for various commercial electrical projects, manage a team of estimators, collaborate with project management and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Responsibilities Manage the electrical estimating process for projects of varying sizes and complexity Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors Manage a team of estimators and provide guidance and support as needed Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates Review and approve change orders Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates are completed on time and within budget Participate in project meetings and provide input on project planning and execution Continuously improve the estimating process and implement best practices

Requirements:

Minimum of five years recent electrical estimating management experience Electrical Journeyman experience and construction practices Interpret plumbing and/or HVAC, architectural, civil and structural plans and specifications that are related to electrical installation Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, PlanSwift, SureCount, Autodesk, Intellibid and/or EBM is desired Above average analytical and problem-solving skills Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states.
