The Maintenance Planner is responsible for organizing the preventative, corrective, and improvement of maintenance activities of the Maintenance Department by coordinating machines, parts, services and staff availability. This position will be essential in establishing PM schedules in coordination with production schedules and the generation of reports using SAP and other methods. The Maintenance Planner works primarily with Operations and Maintenance to ensure an effective Maintenance Operation. This position is responsible for working closely with the Parts Coordinators to maintain a plant's parts systems that ensures the necessary parts are on hand to minimize production downtime and maximize PM effectiveness while controlling the spare parts inventory valuation through SAP. This role includes working with vendors to schedule services, learning systems, developing procedures, and training related personnel. The Maintenance Planner also works with Operations group to manage F-Tags and improvements, as well as repair requests. Specifically, the Maintenance Planner enters the work orders and provides the necessary reports to enable the efficient completion of all Work Orders.

Be pro-active and strive to develop the best practices and action plans to deal with work demands. * Facilitation and Coaching. An ability to facilitate and coach team members to support team performance and increase knowledge of policies, procedures and ways of working. * Decision Making. An ability to make decisions leveraging experience and knowledge of internal policies and practices to effectively and efficiently administer key programs. * Problem Solving. An ability to identify, prioritise and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence. * Quality. Knowledge of product quality and food safety procedures. * Management. Keen sense of prioritisation and ability to influence change. Resolve conflicts where identified. * Administration. Timely and accurate administration of PM schedules and completion of all Work Orders.

Business Awareness. Understand the business needs for change and innovation.

* Education. High school diploma or equivalent. At least college degree. * 5+ years experience with Packaging Operations, Maintenance and equipment

ESSENTIAL:

* Must have experience in the operation of a computerized inventory management system (CMMS). * Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Familiarity with proper Maintenance and Machine Shop procedures and techniques. * Organizational skills are strongly required to manage the load of Work Requests and Work Orders to ensure work flow continues to run smoothly. * Ability to lift 50 lbs and more than 50 lbs with the aid of lifting assistance. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence others. Ability to communicate effectively with mechanical staff in order to facilitate the execution of work orders and projects. * Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to build collaborative relationships and networks with multiple and diverse stakeholders, internal and external partners. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment * Ability to drive change and innovation by gathering knowledge and resources to ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. * Ability to understand and influence teams to adapt to new ways of working
