Job Summary

The Marketing Director will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the marketing strategy for PrimeSouth Bank. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility, drive product awareness, and support the overall business objectives.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan aligned with the company's business goals and growth objectives.

Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.

Work with finance to create and maintain marketing budget.

Brand Development:

Cultivate and strengthen the brand identity of PrimeSouth within our markets.

Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and communication materials.

Digital Marketing:

Oversee the company's online presence, including the website, social media, and digital advertising campaigns.

Implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to enhance online visibility and drive relevant traffic.

Content Creation:

Lead the creation of compelling and informative content, including product descriptions, blog posts, and visual assets.

Collaborate with the team to produce marketing collateral that effectively communicates the value proposition of our products.

Product Launches:

Manage the successful launch of new products, working closely with product development and sales teams.

Develop marketing campaigns that highlight product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

Sales and Marketing Collaboration:

Foster strong collaboration between the sales, compliance and marketing teams to ensure alignment of goals and strategies.

Coordinate joint initiatives, such as targeted campaigns and promotions, to drive lead generation and sales growth.

Facilitate regular communication channels between sales and marketing to share insights and improve overall effectiveness.

Analytics and Reporting:

Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.

Provide regular reports to leadership on key performance indicators and recommend adjustments for continuous improvement.

Additional Areas:

Assist with branch renovations and new facilities

Event planning experience

Management and oversight of intranet (Prime Central)

Ordering, sorting and distribution of marketing material/promo items

Assist with other administrative responsibilities related to the position

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and project management skills.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

Superior ability to write in a journalistic style customary for corporate and external publications.

Proficiency in developing and implementing social media strategies.

Thorough understanding of marketing principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell products and services.

Ability to offer sound media relations advice to senior leadership.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with corporate management, employees, media, and the larger community.

Ability to coordinate efforts of various teams to present a coherent message.

You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves to work on strategic projects with fellow company leaders and colleagues.

Managing the company website to ensure content, design, and functionality are fresh and attract interest from new prospects.

Collaborating with Sales to grow lead generation opportunities from both new and existing customers, and developing the tools, materials, and presentations to enable Sales to meet their revenue goals.

Managing, tracking, and reporting on marketing performance, while using data analytics to improve demand outcomes continually.

Mature relationship-building skills.

Develop processes and procedures for continuity throughout the organization, along with a sense of urgency, to move the Company toward its goals.

Persistent, process-driven, and strategic with data-based decision-making capabilities.

Track record of growing teams, achieving sales & marketing goals, and creating a fun work environment.

Education and Experience

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing OR demonstrated and related experience. The candidate must show career stability (3+ year tenure in their career roles), including experience with photoshop and Illustrator.

The candidate must have a successful track record (attracting target audience and generating qualified leads) and optimizing growth.

The candidate must have the ability to interact effectively with customers and the team, excellent interpersonal skills (positive and vibrant personality).

Marketing experience in the banking industry preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
