Senior Project Manager/Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will not only be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for construction projects but will also have a book of business or clientele list. This role includes overseeing other Project Managers, creating project designs, leading project rollout meetings, and overseeing every aspect of jobs.

Responsibilities:

Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates

Utilize software to create accurate estimates

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates

Conduct thorough research on materials, labor, and equipment costs

Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions

Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to budget constraints

Oversee other Project Managers to ensure project goals are met

Create and design project plans and blueprints

Lead project rollout meetings to align teams and stakeholders

Oversee every aspect of projects from initiation to completion

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field

Proven experience in construction estimating and project management

A book of business or clientele list

Proficiency in construction estimating software

Strong knowledge of cost control principles and practices

Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors

Ability to build accurate estimates based on project requirements

Understanding of construction contracts and pricing structures

Strong leadership skills to manage and oversee other Project Managers
