Job Overview:

Stock bar with designated supplies, ensuring no shortages for guest service.Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment. Support the seamless running of the bar, by providing a highly efficient and effective service, ensuring standards are maintained and guest needs are anticipated. To establish and maintain good working relationships amongst the bar, and front of house team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•To provide support to the entire bar team and act as the bar tenders assistant.

•Ensure all fridges and caddies are fully stocked, cleaned and up to the company standards.

•To make sure the bartenders have all the supplies needed to continually make drinks and assist guests.

•To prepare all garnishing's for cocktails. Properly date all goods

•To share responsibilities with bar tenders to effectively set up and break down the bar at each shift.

•Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.Use equipment only as intended.

•Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests even during busy shifts.

•Always maintain positive guest relations.

•Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.

•Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic selections available.

•Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.

•Inspect cleanliness and condition of Bar and service areas; rectify any deficiencies.

•Replenish supplies in Bars throughout shift.

•Restock ice, glassware, and goods. Properly store any dairy, produce, herbs, and juices while properly storing them in their assigned spaces.

•Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of Bar and service areas.

•Transport soiled wares to dishwashing area.

•Extend courteous salutations when guests leave outlet and invite them to return.

•Clean, sanitize, and polish all glassware in glass machine/three compartment sink.

•Ensure maximum usage of all supplies to attain budgeted beverage cost and to prevent waste.

•Complete closing side duties:

oProperly store all reusable goods.

oEmpty and drain ice bin.

oScrub sink.

oRemove all items from bar top and tables; place clean items in designated areas; wipe clean all surfaces of bar top and tables.

oRemove liquor and bottles from speed rail and liquor cabinet.

oSecure all liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.

oWipe down all bottles and surfaces.

oClean all bar equipment and tools.

oRemove trash.

•Sweep and mop floor behind Bar.

•Ability to work a varied schedule that may include early morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

•Additional duties assigned by management
