Hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm
Reporting to their direct Supervisor, the Level 2 Clinician will provide exemplary clinical care (evaluations, treatments, documentation, and professional communication), as well as assist Supervisors with staff development, management support and liaison, administrative tasks, and clinical supervision/mentoring of staff and students.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology program required.
- Experience
- Greater than three years' previous experience as a Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist or Speech Pathologist.
- Working at Emerson Hospital for greater than 2 years.
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred.
- Licensure and/or Certification
- BLS required within 4 months from hire.
- Current license to practice physical therapy, occupational therapy or speech pathology in Massachusetts required.
- Skills
- Clinical expertise for the age and type of patients seen.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Must execute sound judgment all duties.
- Courteous and professional manner when dealing with people in person and on the phone.
- Ability to prioritize workload and respond to urgent needs.
- Committed to Service Excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Computer skills required.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Strong leadership, training, and mentorship abilities required.
