In the role of Director, Aircraft Maintenance , you will have the opportunity to: Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him. Oversee maintenance of 14 CFR 91 aircraft based in N. Wilkesboro, NC, ensuring that regulatory requirements are met or exceeded. Oversee and perform aircraft maintenance, including cleaning, servicing ministry aircraft, hangar facilities, ground support equipment, tool calibration, and documentation. Establish and maintain a maintenance, inspection, and repair program to ensure that aircraft are airworthy and in accordance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements. Plan, schedule, and oversee aircraft maintenance and inspections, including engines, aircraft systems, and major and minor repairs. Plan and schedule maintenance personnel training, including required record keeping. Ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable regulatory and manufacturer requirements and is properly documented, including return to service procedures. Oversee, actively utilize, and participate in the administrative support to departments Safety Management System (SMS). Work with Aviation Purchasing and Logistics Manager and vendors to procure parts, and to contract and schedule offsite maintenance, inspections, upgrades, and modifications. Assist the MAS Director in acquisition and divestment of aircraft to include research, records review, and management of modifications, painting, and refurbishment. Regularly meet for staff meetings with Director of Aviation and other key team members. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and five (5) plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current FAA Aviation Mechanic Airframe and Power Plant Certificate is required. Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration 14 CFR regulations. Comprehensive knowledge of both Domestic and International Flight Operations. Ability to maintain all applicable aviation mechanic certifications required. High level of confidentiality required. Strong ability to think critically, handle change well, and make appropriate decisions. Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple projects and to work independently.
