A&L Machining is a high-production precision CNC machine shop with decades of experience. Our operation is growing, and we are seeking highly motivated individuals to work within a team-oriented, supportive work environment.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced lathe machinist who is able to competently and independently perform set-ups and run lathe operations on parts with tight tolerances. We will train on company specific procedures, but general lathe setup competency is a must. Eagerness to grow and develop as a machinist and work as part of a team within a growing company is also important to ensure a good cultural fit.

Supervisor: Lathe Lead

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Lathe programming ability
  • Lathe setup ability
  • Ability to make affective decisions when determining workholding methods and tooling selections for assigned tasks

Ability to inspect work using basic measuring instruments upon hire and be able to learn/utilize precision measuring equipment (such as CMM, Sylvac, etc.) within 6 months of hire.

Pay: $24-28/hour

Benefits: Health, dental, vision with extremely low copays, holiday+sick+vacation PTO, career progression opportunities

Shifts available: Day, 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday with OT on Friday as available.
