Overview Join Sam Houston State Universitys Specialist I Customer Service Rep role as a full?time team member in Student Account Services. The position involves handling financial transactions, providing student support, and assisting with Bearkat OneCard services. Responsibilities Process monetary items and interdepartmental deposits. Reconcile cash drawer, prepare daily bank deposits, and apply exemptions, waivers, and scholarships. Analyze financial accounts and communicate findings to students, parents, staff, and faculty. Provide customer support for financial services and ID card services. Coordinate student staff scheduling, training, and supervision as needed. Assist with program planning, development, implementation, and monitoring. Perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent. College or continuing education courses in business and/or accounting are desired. Experience: Preferred experience handling cash and in customer service, accounting, or related fields. Skills: Proficiency with calculator, Microsoft Office Suite; accurate in counting and balancing; excellent public?contact disposition.
