CFC has a need for a Digital Content Specialist to join the Corporate Communications team. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays. The Digital Content Specialist will be responsible for implementing digital communications to support the objectives and initiatives of multiple business lines within the organization.

As a Digital Content Specialist, you will: • Execute digital communication strategies to effectively convey key messages, promote initiatives and engage members on behalf of the organization • Process the distribution of bulk HTML emails to members, including maintaining a calendar of scheduled messages, using software to create the document, adding appropriate graphics, creating hyperlinks, sending test messages, managing contact lists and implementing final distribution. • Maintain the organization’s digital presence across various platforms, including websites, social media channels, email newsletters, mass marketing messages and other digital communication channels. • Maintain digital communication standards, guidelines and protocols to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with brand standards. • Update, edit and optimize website content, ensuring accuracy and brand excellence using web content management systems. • Create compelling and engaging digital content, including written, visual and multimedia assets, to support communication objectives and enhance member engagement. • Monitor and analyze digital metrics, including email performance and social media engagement, to assess the effectiveness of communication efforts and inform strategic decision-making and communications segmentation to optimize member engagement. • Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices and innovations in digital communication and technology, and make recommendations for incorporating new tools and techniques into communication strategies. • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to coordinate digital communications and ensure alignment with broader organizational goals. • Track, analyze, optimize, and report on member email campaigns on a monthly basis. • Work with the internal stakeholders to determine audience segmentation to create highly targeted campaigns for key segments.

To be successful, you will need: • Bachelor of Arts in Business, Marketing, or related field. • A minimum of three years in marketing, communications or related areas • Experience with Salesforce Account Engagement and/or Marketing Cloud preferred. • Experience building, testing, sending and reporting on email campaigns. • Experience managing email scheduling for a matrixed organization. • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite applications (Acrobat, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier). • Knowledge of marketing best practices, digital tools and techniques. • Experience with Microsoft office. • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. • Strong computer and organizational skills. • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. • Experience using a content management system. • Experience in video creation and editing preferred.
