Associate Facilities Engineer

An ideal candidate will collaborate with the Engineering and Facilities Maintenance teams to support assigned activities and projects, adhering to relevant regulatory guidelines, company policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities :

- Support Facilities Engineering and maintenance operations following environmental management, occupational health, and safety (HSE) systems, promoting continuous improvement.

- Comply with all HSE procedures and policies, including incident reporting, use of PPE, and other applicable programs.

- Assist plant engineering in maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of reliability activities, analyses, and improvements.

- Support equipment and systems qualification as needed.

- Ensure compliance with SOPs related to the Code of Federal Regulations (cGMP), OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other relevant regulatory agencies.

- Develop knowledge of roles and functions within the site Facilities Engineering and Maintenance, and other cross-functional teams. Update site engineering drawings as needed.

- Provide technical support on engineering projects related to the operation and maintenance of equipment, building systems, and utilities.

- Assist in equipment procurement, obtaining installation quotations, and supporting the startup and qualification of new equipment.

- Collaborate with the client's FEHSE team to ensure adequate documentation and training provided by vendors, including developing SOPs and training materials for production and building system equipment.

- Perform various projects as assigned and present achievements and learnings to staff leaders, managers, and mentors.

Requirements :

- Bachelor of Science degree in an appropriate engineering discipline

- 0-3 years of experience in the life science industry

- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and engineering tools

- Basic knowledge of GMP HVAC and GMP utilities

- Proven teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity

- Ability to present to stakeholders

- Preferred COOP or Internship experience
