We are seeking a Senior IT Specialist with A/E/C experience to join our corporate IT Team.

The System Administrator will report to the IT Director and lead our Desktop Support team by example, provide excellent customer service and resolve all technical issues. You should have a solid technical background, combined with customer service or Helpdesk support experience. A creative problem-solving attitude along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions are essential skills to perform well in this role. This role will support and have direct interaction with local and remote employees.

Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to,
- Primarily responsible for Unified Endpoint Management via Ivanti Endpoint Manager, JAMF, PDQ, and other relevant applications
- Co-manage Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) utilizing VMware Horizon and IGEL Thin Clients
- Effectively communicate issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactively works to promote a positive and customer service-focused team culture
- Seeks opportunities for enhancing desktop support services through collaboration with IT colleagues and other stakeholders to maximize efficiency, leverage collective knowledge, and deliver integrated client services
- Recommends workflows and process improvements to the IT Director
- Follow standard change and configuration management processes
- Collaborate with BIM Team, MSPs, Carriers, and Hardware Vendors to implement new technology and/or resolve outstanding issues
- Monitors all Ivanti Service Manager tickets to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are being met, intervening where necessary
- Software license management and reporting along with ad-hoc reports as needed
- Hardware procurement and asset management
- Work closely with other roles to research new tools and technologies that can better support business needs
- Identify, document, and contribute to knowledge articles required for end-users, IT, and BIM Teams

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications or equivalent certifications required
- Prior A/E/C industry experience required
- 5+ years of endpoint management/experience with Windows Operating Systems
- 4+ years of Active Directory and Group Policy required
- 3+ years of networking experience with various LAN, WAN, Security, and Wi-Fi technologies and protocols required
- 2+ years working with PowerShell
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Independent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitude
- TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS
- Network Appliance or relevant NAS/SAN, ISCSI experience
- Enterprise Backup Solutions (Dell IDPA, Avamar, Data Domain)
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, Cisco/Alcatel-Lucent switches, routers, firewalls, and IP Telephony (VOIP), including relevant protocols
- Experience with Autodesk Suite/Products along with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, Newforma is preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry training such as Microsoft MCSE, MCITP
- Industry certifications such as ITIL v4, A+, Network+, and Security+
- Experience working with VMWare ESX, vSphere, and/or vCenter
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SharePoint Server
- Experience with Cisco IOS (CLI) or Cisco certification
- Linux systems administration skills/certification
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Experience with project management
- Experience with Data Cabling / Computer Facilities maintenance
- Experience with server administration
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS
