As part of this team, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate filing of various tax information for Care.com entities. This position will report to the Accounting Manager. What You'll Do: * Maintain accounts and prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including the timely resolution of any outstanding reconciling items. * Generate manual and system-driven journal entries to be reviewed by the Accounting Manager, including the creation of vital analyses and back-up support. * Prepare property tax returns timely and accurately. * Prepare international VAT returns timely and accurately. * Prepare other miscellaneous tax returns timely and accurately. * Assist in maintenance of sales & use tax software configuration. * Appropriately respond to state and federal tax notices across all companies. * Assist in the appropriate accounting for transfer pricing agreements, including recording of journal entries, review of agreements, and preparation of annual transfer pricing reviews and documentation. * Assist in preparation of statutory accounts for international entities. * Develop and improve accounting processes and reporting.
