If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, treat the business as if it is your own and add value accordingly, come see why we’re Calumet Proud PURPOSE: The Manager of Process Excellence will be responsible for the identification and execution of process and system improvements and changes as it relates to Finance, Accounting, and Inventory Costing. A primary emphasis on being a trusted business partner across all business lines and management from a finance perspective to help determine and execute strategic plans to ensure proper controls are in place and enact continuous process improvement opportunities. Leveraging strong business and organizational understanding, the position serves to continuously analyze and assess business needs to ensure processes and systems are designed and operating effectively. Business needs, gaps and solutions are timely identified and resolved, and process and system changes are communicated and documented successfully across all levels of the business. KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with business lines, management, and IT to identify business requirements and process improvement opportunities and solutions Analyze and continuously monitor current Accounting and Finances processes to maximize effectiveness and trouble shoot problems Utilize strong business and organizational knowledge to design, recommend and execute effective solutions for process improvement and system change with appropriate assessment of potential impact across all business lines and business resources Collaborate with SAP IT members to address any system issues and ensure SAP is operating as expected Interpret impact of system changes to the Finance Organization Identify strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity Development, coordination, and communication of best practices Work with the business and IT to manage and prioritize projects Communicate and align Process Change across all Business Lines Work with MDM to ensure the Material Master Data in the accounting and costing tables are correct Support upper management by providing data and reporting tools that will help better run the business Continuously work toward an efficient month end closing process Coordinate control walkthroughs with both internal and external audit teams Ensure Compliance to policies, procedures, and other corporate guidelines REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of professional accounting experience COMPETENCIES:

Excellent communication, technology, analytical and management skills Knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) SAP or other ERP/Accounting systems experience Demonstration of Calumet Values – Safety, Environment & Social Responsibility, Teamwork, Ownership, Passion for Customers, and Excellence Salary and benefits commensurate with experience.
