Job Description

This posting is for multiple openings of a Respiratory Care Practitioner at Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.

We offer night shift as well as full time opportunities.

Plans, prepares, and delivers a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. Documents all respiratory care on appropriate records. Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory care equipment. Completes patient billing.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school, or equivalent education/experience
  • Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an associate degree and 1 year of experience.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state or New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state
  • 1 year experience (May include clinical portion of training program).
Preferred Qualification:
  • Coursework/Training: Flight Training.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
