Light Maintenance Laborer

Available shift(s):
- 18 years old or older
- 3 days during the week from 12 pm-6 pm,
- + Every other Saturday from 12 pm-6 pm,
- + Every other Sunday from 10 am-2 pm,
- Additional hours may be required during peak floral holidays.
- High School Students
- 3 days during the week from 3 pm-6 pm
- + Every other Saturday from 12 pm-6 pm,
- + Every other Sunday from 10 am-2 pm,
- Additional hours may be required during peak floral holidays.
- $13/hr.
- All shifts end no later than 6:15 p.m. during normal business hours.
- Are you available to work on Saturdays and Sundays (Don't worry; not every)
- 25 % Employee discount.
- Replace light bulbs
- Sweep and remove large amounts of debris from production departments, coolers, and bays
- Empty 96-gal bins and operate a hi-lo to transport large loads of refuse
- Assist in landscaping grounds by removing weeds, and disposing of leaves and snow when needed
- Assists other departments with general labor as needed
- Additional hours required in February, May, November, and December

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
