Manufacturing Lead SupervisorWho we are looking for:We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Lead Supervisor to be based out of Milford, UT. Reporting to Production Manager, this person will be responsible for overseeing the shift production and staff. Ensuring all employees are following safety guidelines while producing a quality product.What you'll do:Train new Operators and Material HandlersIdentify and resolve any issue on all production linesInvestigate causes of quality issuesIndependently run all aspects of the PVC extrusion lines ensuring that product meets all applicable internal and external specificationsCheck that all reports are filled out properly, completely, and are legible.Report any problems with equipment to Maintenance and to the Production Manager.Know, follow, and enforce plant safety rules and wear proper PPEDocument any safety or extrusion procedure violations and report it to the Production Manager or Plant Manager.Report all accidents/injuries to the Production Manager, Plant Manager and Human Resources.What you'll bring:Associate degree and a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training in the field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experienceTime management, planning, and organizational skillsEffective decision making and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communications skillsNeed to be detail oriented and have safe work practicesWithin 3 months, you'll:Complete any required trainingHave developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.Be well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.Who we are: Atkore is a recipient of a Great Place to Work© certification and a Top Workplaces USA award We're committed to creating an engaged and aligned workforce that drives collaborative culture.
