Manufacturing Lead Supervisor

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Lead Supervisor to be based out of Milford, UT. Reporting to Production Manager, this person will be responsible for overseeing the shift production and staff. Ensuring all employees are following safety guidelines while producing a quality product.

What you‘ll do:

  • Train new Operators and Material Handlers
  • Identify and resolve any issue on all production lines
  • Investigate causes of quality issues
  • Independently run all aspects of the PVC extrusion lines ensuring that product meets all applicable internal and external specifications
  • Check that all reports are filled out properly, completely, and are legible.
  • Report any problems with equipment to Maintenance and to the Production Manager.
  • Know, follow, and enforce plant safety rules and wear proper PPE
  • Document any safety or extrusion procedure violations and report it to the Production Manager or Plant Manager.
  • Report all accidents/injuries to the Production Manager, Plant Manager and Human Resources.

What you‘ll bring:

  • Associate degree and a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training in the field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
  • Need to be detail oriented and have safe work practices

Within 3 months, you‘ll:

  • Complete any required training
  • Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
  • Be well-versed in Atkore‘s Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.
