Summary

The Enterprise Risk Manager will report to the Compliance Director and will be a key member of the Corporate Compliance function. This person is responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining the Company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program. The Enterprise Risk Manager is a partner to the business and will support many internal departments with various functions to ensure that our regulatory and compliance requirements are met. S/he will be the risk adviser to the Company's management teams and business units regarding identified risks and required remediation or mitigation plans.

The ideal candidate for this role will have in-depth knowledge and experience in international enterprise-wide risk management, assessment, mitigation, and process improvements.

This position is remote, with the expectation that the individual travel to corporate headquarters in Horsham, PA and other Company locations as needed to support ERM initiatives.

Essential Functions

•Create, execute, and manage the Company's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Program.

- Establish risk assessment criteria, document, and maintain processes and procedures for enterprise risk assessment in compliance with regulatory expectations and industry standards.

- Work cross-functionally with internal business units to perform risk assessments, validate existing processes and controls, quantify risk exposure, develop risk mitigation plans, and report on key risk metrics.

- Develop a risk library through interviews and surveys of key stakeholders, complemented by research of industry trends, emerging risks, regulatory and industry level developments.

- Conduct ongoing enterprise-wide risk analysis and regulatory review of various new and emerging risk areas for the organization including major strategic initiatives, programs, and partnerships.

- Perform periodic reassessments and validation of risk mitigation to determine whether the plans are operating as designed. Draft reports based on results of risk assessments and track the status of recommendations and corrective actions.

- Escalate key enterprise risks to the Compliance Director, as needed, to ensure organizational accountability.

- Produce clear, concise, and impactful policies and procedures. This includes drafting, reviewing, and maintaining documented policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory expectations and industry standards.

- Provide guidance and training to promote risk control awareness, ownership, and accountability.

•Provide cross-functional support to other departments within the organization including, but not limited to, the following:

- supporting the Commercial Team by completing compliance questionnaires requested by accounts in a timely fashion and requests for review and approval of third-party Supplier Code's,

- collaborating with Human Resources on Employee Relations questions and issues and conducting investigations, as needed, for complaints received through the Hotline or internally and ensure remediation and closure,

- ensuring our Procurement, Supply Chain and Freight Teams comply with all vendor onboarding compliance requirements and assisting with Freight concerns and compliance risks,

- collaborating with our Environmental, Health & Safety Department on identified compliance deficiencies and completing requests for completion of compliance questionnaires coming from our Commercial or Supply Chain teams, and

- reviewing policies for other departments, as requested.

•Manage the Company's domestic and international Records Retention Programs.

•Support the Compliance Director in mitigation and management of identified data privacy risks.

•Work with the Compliance Director to establish upcoming annual Compliance training requirements based on ongoing compliance and risk GAP analysis.

•Assist with managing and operating the Company's established third-party risk management program and provide backup support as / when needed.

•Support in the operation of the Company's established Learning Management System (LMS) and provide backup support as / when needed.

•Under guidance and oversight by the Compliance Director, conduct periodic internal audits of identified enterprise risks to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and Company policies and contribute to the proper remediation and corrective action planning regarding identified risk control and program deficiencies.

•Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, develop meeting agendas, prepare presentation items, and capture meeting notes and follow through on open actions.

•Other duties, as may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree + professional certification in risk management required. Master's degree + professional certification preferred.

•5+ years' experience providing enterprise risk management services for an international organization required.

•Expansive knowledge of regulatory compliance, applicable to different organizational functions, with an ability to effectively document and report identified risks and remediation efforts.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload in a growth company, lean-resourced environment.

•Ability to summarize complex and/or technical information into easy-to-understand pieces (distinguishing outcomes from process and analysis) with proven results in data analytics, process improvement, and change management.

•Adept at exercising creativity in finding acceptable routes to solve identified risks while simultaneously meeting business goals.

•Strong project management skills, self-starter with the ability to work independently and see tasks/projects through to completion, to meet deadlines and to escalate issues, if needed. Ability to juggle multiple high priorities in a fast-paced environment and have a willingness to learn.

•Collaborative Team Member with strong communication skills and the proven ability to build functional partnerships with employees of all levels across the organization as well as external vendors or stakeholders.

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), with knowledge of the use of formatting and programming tools within each application.

•Ability to travel nationally to support ERM Program initiatives (up to 15%).
