A registered professional nurse who is responsible for continuity of care on a designated shift by coordinating the activities and services of nursing and the other departments in an effective and economical manner. Functions as the delegate of Administration in the absence of the President or his designee.
Job Description
- Manages staffing for all inpatient units, emergency room, and critical care for licensed and ancillary staff every shift and as needed.
- Completes two full clinical rounds per shift on all patient care areas and as needed
- Manages bed flow for all patients inside the facility, and through the Transfer Center.
- Manages emergencies and patient/staff concerns
- Current licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required (BSN preferred).
- Five (5) years of clinical experience and successful performance as a staff nurse.
