Position:

Swank Construction Company, LLC is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as Shop Hand/Parts Chaser for our Shop Location.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Successful candidates will be able to perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Maneuvering various equipment around the yard and into the wash bay.
  • Detailing, degreasing and pressure washing heavy equipment to prepare for winter maintenance.
  • Perform general maintenance/cleanup of the shop floor and surrounding area, machinery, equipment, and tools.
  • Assist technicians with different job tasks.
  • Assist the parts department with all of its daily processes and procedures.
  • Maintain company tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper use.
  • Dependable, Reliable, Punctual, & Self Motivated.
  • Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • May occasionally be required to use a computer with keyboard, telephone, or handheld mobile device for extended periods of time, and other equipment/machinery/vehicles as needed.
  • Will occasionally be required to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items and materials.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl for extended periods or when needed.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in, and understand, English.
Workdays & Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
  • High school diploma or equivalent- Preferred.
  • Valid driver's license - Required.
Other Requirements:
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screens & background checks, including MVR.
