We are Dover Precision Components, #LifeAtDPCSummary:The Raw Material Coordinator compiles information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of material by performing the following duties.Responsibilities: Verifies specifications of purchase requests and job packets. Operate forklift in a safe manner. Searches inventory records or west yard to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity. Operate H.E.M. bandsaw to cut pieces accordingly to cutsheet. Determine/ Identifies types of purchase order and sends copy to Operations Coordinator and department originating request. Compiles records of items purchased or transferred between departments, prices, deliveries, and inventories. Able to read drawings to strategically saw-cut pieces efficiently. Pickup & deliver of materials in a timely manner, including any contracted work from/to vendors and/or customer's site. Loading and unloading of inbound/outbound freight, Hotshot trucks Contact Shipper with any concerns on Unsafe deliveries. Anodize, any aluminum pieces requiring hardness. Verifies and contributes information regarding square footage and timed of anodize parts. Provides support to machinist, shop floor and shipping duties. Skills: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Works well in group problem solving situations. Responds promptly to customer needs; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments. Listens and gets clarification. Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information. Contributes to building a positive team spirit. Includes appropriate people in decision-making process.
