OVERVIEW

Soko Glam is seeking a highly organized and driven Marketing Intern to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily focus on developing and executing marketing strategies for our TT shop project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and creative marketing, with experience in the beauty, retail, or CPG industries.

The Summer internship program will run from June 3, 2024 until August 23, 2024. This is a paid, full-time internship with an hourly rate of $15 and an anticipated time commitment of approximately 30 hours per week (Monday-Friday). Interns based in the NY metro area will have the opportunity to work out of the NYC Headquarters (hybrid role, 3x per week in office requirement).

During the internship program, participants will be paired with a supervisor who will provide them with on-the-job training and projects. The program also incorporates additional learning components focused on professional development, exposure to various functional business areas, and the opportunity to interact with senior executives. Participants will also work on a function-specific project designed to address a current company initiative and/or business gap.

Overall, the program includes on-the-job training, shadow sessions with our leaders, functional focused intern project(s), and other interesting components. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the launch and management of the TT shop, focusing on creating impactful marketing strategies and campaign decks.
  • Develop and refine pitch decks and brand decks to effectively communicate marketing strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop 360 marketing campaigns, GTM strategies, and always-on marketing efforts.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the fast-paced marketing team by developing innovative campaign ideas and strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a bachelor's program in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within the beauty, retail, or CPG industries.
  • Previous hands-on experience with marketing campaigns and leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create detailed reports and derive insights from data.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative experience in developing marketing materials and digital content.
