Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The Residency Program Coordinator provides project and administrative support to the Residency Program. Priorities for this job include, but are not limited to: Coordinate and optimizing resident schedules to ensure compliance with accreditation standards, program requirements, and educational objectives.Maintain accurate records of resident schedules, duty hours, and related data. Provide general program support and assistance to the Manager and other leaders to ensure success of the Residency Program. Coordinate electronic training and documentation programs including training residents and faculty in operation and updating of systems.Provide support and documentation for resident recruitment, education, and evaluation.Support communication related to residency medical education activities including web-based development and maintenance of programmatic information.RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: N/ASKILLS: Complete assignments and critically think/problem solve independently and communicate when problems or barriers arise.Develop strong relationships with physicians, associates, and community partners.Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation)Ability to positively represent the organization with community partners.Use of technology to perform essential functions of the role ((EPIC, Microsoft Office, Outlook).Excellent reading, writing, and editing skills in English.Ability to multi-task and manage self in times of stress.Resourceful, initiative-taking.EXPERIENCE: 1 year of related experience preferred.
