Automation Controls Engineer

Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Controls Engineer - 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM) at our Oxford, OH location.What will you do?Create automated equipment/machine specifications which includes end of line test equipment.Work with external suppliers to design and deploy assembly lines, including automated equipment.Develop, deploy, and debug PLC and HMI programs for automated equipment.Integrate machines and assembly lines into MIS and plants' digital manufacturing execution systems.Who will you report to? Methods & Maintenance Manager What qualifications will make you successful for this role?Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.2+ years of experience with PLC programming.1+ year of experience in automation industry.Experience in assembly line equipment design and deployment preferred.We know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experience.
