Arrowhead Talent Solutions is helping a client find a skilled and experienced HR Manager to join their corporate office located in Fairlawn, Ohio.

The HR Manager will play a critical role in overseeing various HR functions with a primary focus on employee retention, performance management, and total rewards management. Additionally, this role will be responsible for assisting with and supporting their North American business and general HR needs of their operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Retention:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Conduct stay interviews and exit interviews to identify factors affecting employee retention.
  • Analyze retention data and trends to develop strategies for improving employee retention rates
  • Partner with managers to address employee concerns and promote a positive work environment.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in implementing performance management processes and systems to drive employee performance and development.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers on performance management best practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set performance goals and objectives aligned with organizational goals.

Total Rewards Management:

  • Conduct benchmarking studies to ensure competitive compensation and benefits practices.
  • Develop and implement total rewards strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
  • Partner with finance and legal teams to ensure compliance with compensation and benefits regulations.

HR Operations:

  • Help to oversee corporate HR operations, including employee relations, policy development, and HRIS administration.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relations issues and mediate conflicts when necessary.

Support for North American Business:

  • Provide HR support and guidance to the Canadian HR team, ensuring alignment with corporate HR policies and procedures.
  • Stay informed about Canadian employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance in HR practices.
  • Collaborate with Canadian business leaders to address HR needs and support business objectives..

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on recruiting, employee retention,
