Overview of the role: AR Collections Specialist

  • Monitoring/tracking outstanding account balances
  • Initiating contact with customers for payment collection or negotiate payment plan
  • Resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Generating past due aging reports to customers
  • Submitting regular reports on status of unpaid accounts and any repayment progress.
  • Processing of payments and refunds
  • Updating account status and customer information with detailed documentation
  • Ability to be friendly and understanding while continuing to stay firm with customers

Preferred Qualifications: AR Collections Specialist

  • Knowledge of AR billing and collections procedures
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
