Coronet continues to grow and exceed expectations in producing high-end architectural luminaires quickly and efficiently. We are currently seeking an Engineering Project Manager to work closely with our Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, project scope, execution and completion of a project while managing the team, timelines and resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work directly with Engineering team to ensure execution of projects while meeting, performance, quality and scheduling goals

Create and execute strategic goals, such as roadmaps to drive efficacy

Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

Report and escalate issues or major roadblocks to Leadership as needed

Create monitor KPIs for product success

Manage the product lifecycle and become the on-site expert for all inquiries

Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to identify opportunities for improvement, including competitive and customer analysis, researching technological developments, and identifying trends and opportunities in the industry

Utilize software to keep track of tasks and schedule

Ensure teams are collaborating well, and staying motivated and on schedule

Skills and Knowledge

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Proven ability to understand and interpret detailed engineering drawings and associated documents
  • Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, as well as a proven ability to drive complex projects with minimal oversight
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills and social awareness
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to take charge or play a supporting role
  • A consulting background, lighting industry background, LC credential, PMP or other relevant industry certifications or registrations is a plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

With Coronet sales representatives located all over the US, a strong inside sales team, and in-house engineers we are able to achieve excellent project management and deliver exceptional product. Our ability to engineer custom lighting fixtures per job-specific needs continues to leave our customers satisfied. Our factory houses high end machinery, cutting-edge technology, and an incredible on site engineering department readily available to our clientele. We also offer lighting calculation reports to insure proper lighting for every floor plan. From custom lengths and project-specific mounting requirements to special patterns and layouts, Coronet will cater to all your job-specific needs.
