Medical Assistant

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Assistant to fill an opening with a primary care clinic in Sarasota, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:
  • Back-office duties such as prepping and cleaning rooms, socking rooms, taking and recording patient vitals, documenting medical history and chief complaints, blood draws and injections (please put how many sticks per day they've have done in the past)
  • Front office duties - check in check out, patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, assisting patients with questions
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm/Onsite
Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
  • High School Diploma OR equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant within a clinic setting experienced in front and back desk duties
  • Phlebotomy AND injection experience
  • Lead experience is a plus

Preferred Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
  • eCW experience

Pay Details: $24.52 an hour - $25.00 an hour
